GCSE Textiles

Ben Stosic, a GCSE Textiles and Fashion Design student, explored the theme of climate change through an innovative garment developed in collaboration with his client, Abby Collins, who modelled the final piece. The project culminated in a reversible, backless silk gown incorporating traditional textile techniques including block printing and embroidery, combining contemporary fashion design with environmental awareness. Assessed as part of his GCSE coursework, the project received an outstanding 49/50, contributing to Ben’s overall Grade 9 in GCSE Textiles and Fashion Design, the highest grade available.
